Portable Appliance Testing – also known as PAT testing – is the examination of portable electrical equipment and appliances to ensure they are safe to use in the working environment.
Our professional PAT testing engineers are fully accredited, will perform a thorough service and supply you with a detailed, itemised report to prove your adherence to the various regulations and legislations.
We will test all of your appliances in one visit and we will be there when we say we will. We understand that offering a reliable service is absolutely paramount and it’s something we take pride in.

What We Do:
Our fully qualified PAT testing engineers will visit your premises and first carry out a thorough visual inspection of your appliances then several electrical tests will be carried out on each appliance. These can include Earth Continuity, Insulation Resistance and Substitute Leakage depending on the appliance..
If the appliance passes these tests a unique asset number will be attached showing the month and year it was tested and the old label will be removed, we wont stick label upon label to your appliances. We will leave it looking as neat as possible.
Should the appliance fail it will be logged and labelled with a red “Do Not Use” label and the duty holder informed.
After all of the appliances have been tested the engineer will return to one of our offices to download the results into our software and a fully itemised detailed report showing individual test results for each appliance will be provided, the same day.
We don’t send a simple Pass or Fail register and the reason for this is because we believe you need to see the individual test readings (earth continuity, insulation resistance etc). Its all too easy for the people offering low prices to fabricate a report if they don’t supply these readings.
